Media Advisory: Press briefing on Ministerial meeting on CTBT entry into force by Kevin Rudd, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Australia, together with Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General and Tibor Tóth, CTBTO Executive Secretary.

Leading international figures will address a conference to promote the treaty that bans all nuclear explosions.

Foreign Ministers of the State Signatories of the CTBT will attend the Fifth Ministerial Meeting to promote the early entry-into-force of the Treaty on Thursday, 23 September 2010 at 14:15 at the United Nations Headquarters, Conference Room 2 in the Temporary North Lawn Building, in New York, United States.

All the UN accredited journalists are invited to a press stake-out at the UN Security Council at 14:45 where Kevin Rudd, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Australia, the Chairperson of the Meeting, will make a briefing on the Meeting, together with Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary- General and Tibor Tóth, CTBTO Executive Secretary.
