23 September: Conference on Facilitating the Entry into Force of the CTBT

 
Foreign ministers from around 100 countries will meet at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 23 September 2011 to promote the entry into force of CTBT, the treaty that bans all nuclear testing.  UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will address the conference, jointly chaired by Patricia Espinosa Cantellano and Carl Bildt, the Foreign Ministers of Mexico and Sweden respectively. The conference is open to NGO’s and accredited media.

Time:  Friday, 23 September 2011, 10:00-13:00 and 15:00-18:00 (New York time)

Venue: New York, UN Headquarters, North Lawn Building (NLB), Conference Room 4.
